Company History
Norton Outdoor Advertising is Cincinnati's family owned and operated outdoor advertising company. Established in 1949, Jerry Norton started the business to fulfill a need in the Cincinnati business community for affordable outdoor advertising.
In the wake of World War II, traditional roadside billboards were not only expensive, but also scarce. It was during this time that Jerry Norton began offering smaller, 6 by 12-foot displays, which later became known as 8-Sheet Posters.
The company is now run by Jerry Norton's sons, Tom and Dan Norton, who serve as CEO and president, as well as Jerry's grandson, Mike Norton, who serves as Executive Vice President.
Norton Outdoor Advertising still provides cost effective advertising opportunities for local, regional and national clients. We offer advertising display types ranging from 8-Sheet Posters to Bulletins, and everything inbetween. With nearly 1,000 sign structures strategically placed throughout the Greater Cincinnati area, clients can be assured of effectively reaching their target audience.
From modest beginnings, Norton Outdoor Advertising has grown to be one of the premiere outdoor advertising plants in the nation. Although much has changed since the company's inception, our goal remains the same today as it was over 60 years ago: To consistently help our clients reach their sales and marketing goals.
